In 2019, Sitges received the 'Vila Marinera' (Seaside Town) tourism label, a brand that the Agència Catalana de Turisme (Catalan Tourism Agency) awards in recognition of those towns and districts that keep their culture associated with the sea alive. In our case, we're referring to both tangible and intangible heritage. To history and traditions. To traditional fishing and gastronomy. To sea and sky. Because in Sitges we really do have blue blood.
